The Bellaverde is the only vegan and vegetarian restaurant in the north of the Island but as good as you will find anywhere in Mallorca. It’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, snacks or for fine dining set in a beautiful garden amongst the shadow and shelter of century old fig trees. The service is exceptional but the food does not dissapoint with probably some of the finest breakfasts in Puerto Pollensa especially the huevos revueltos.
Locally produced fruit and vegetables, cheeses, wines and beverages are used wherever possible by Svenja and her excellent team of chefs to create some amazing dishes many using amazing spices to challenge your palate. Try an excellent salad with sautéed king oyster mushrooms, pumpkin, rocket salad, goat cheese, accompanied with a very nice maple syrup. For a main course why not try the vegetable curry with tofu served with basmati rice or try Barbels Bolognese, spaghettini with truffle pesto and fresh truffle.
The deserts come highly recommended with chocolate cake with rhubarb puree or Lemon Merengue Bellaverde style and of course locally produced carrot cake.
The restaurant is owned and run by the highly qualified chef Svenja who constantly travels Europe to see ways of improving the menu. They also do a lot of catering for functions in Palma such is its reputation. The front of house service is excellent from long serving Rebeca and Caty who are very customer focused.
